The Million Dollar Question, please.

Look in the feet. If there is none in there I'd brush em off and smoke em.

Have dealt with "much worse" and the smokes were great. Think cheese, as long as you can get rid of it (mold) before consuming you are good to go.

I disagree with tossing them if they're moldy. If the mold has gotten inside the cigar, ie on the foot, than certainly. I've received a few moldy cigars and I isolate them in baggies, brush the offending fuzzies off and smoke the. I have to say that I had a Cuaba Salomone that got mold spots on the wrapper and it was one of the tastiest cigars that I've ever had.

Of course, if you end up in the hospital with some strange condition from smoking one, I will disavow this post.

If it's confined to the wrapper and doesn't envelop the whole cigar, I see no reason to chuck an otherwise perfectly good smoke.

Ok, I'm sorry friends, I know this discussion is mentioned here alot. But t I don't think this should be taken litely. (Search never works for me)

Hi Jack,

Just to help you out with the "non-million dollar question".....I typed "plume mold" in search, and changed the default to "Titles Only"....I got 16 threads from that simple search. It is that easy.

Good luck with solving the mold issue. :)

Its mold bro... Here is what to do...

Take the cigars out of the box in question.. Wipe them off.. Now take the cigars out of the box, and store them in a cool dry place seperate from your other cigars. You may want to freeze them for a few days.. (i recommend 2 days in the fridge, then 3 days in the freezer, then 2 days in the fridge, then back to the humi..) Not sure if u have to do this for this box, but it cant hurt..

Make sure you check you other cigars.. Mold is one of those things that like to spread..

I have 10 CC that had some white stuff on it. I wiped it down should I put them in the freezer in a wooden box? or zip lock bag? Do you think the clean onse should be in the freezer as well???

I wiped them down and I'm buying a A/c for my Cigar room so my humiodor and coolordor dont over heat. This room is on the cold side in the winter and boiling in the summer.

By the way as I wrote earlier that I got the sticks in october 07, I looked on the box it had a stamp from july 06,
