Hi everyone. How is it going? Ok a few friends and I have been wondering how the NUB cigars are. We want to get a few to try but I also want to know if anyone can tell me how they are and if they are worth the buy. Anyone have some info for me? Any and all info is great. Thanks

welcome to the jungle.. :tu

the nub, the habano was ok... really not bad for the price I think the hab. serie are the most expensive one of the group... not over 7 bucks.. :tu

One dimesnsional and mild. If that's your bag, it is the cigar for you.

Definitely NOT the cigar for me.

my dad smoked one tonight while I smoked a Gran Habano Corojo #5 Rubusto Supremo -- he said it was "good" but it was just too hot on his fingers. He likes using 3 fingers and a thumb to hold his cigar, and his ring finger was just too hot. Probably won't try them again.

He has no idea how lucky he is. ;)

I'm running 25% on the NUB's. I've had four so far and three were losers. My first cammeroon was fine, liked it. Second cammie came apart BADLY PO'd me so bad after fighting with it awhile I tossed it!!

Then tried two CT's and they were just flat too one dimensional and weak.

Going to try a Habano and go from there.

I bought my first NUB today, no real expectations except I felt I couldn't knock it till I tried it

It has to taste like something to get a facial expression like that! (Not that I care to find out what.) Cheers to those of you that have tried it so that you have "the right" to knock it according to the Nuboseurs; I can tell without the experience that a 4x60 cigar is not for me!

Welcome to CS

I tried the Cameroon and the Connecticut. I actually really liked the Cameroon. It thought it had that nice cammy sweetness with a touch of spice. The Connecticut was a little too mild for me. One of the guys at our shop only smokes mild cigars and he LOVES the Connecticut. I'd recommend trying one.

Smoked the 4x60 Habano tonight and thought it was pretty good. I have never had an Oliva yet either so I hope they are similar. Actually, I was pissed at myself for getting the 60 gauge because I have more than a couple 60's already. If you are going to try one, at least rock the 66 gauge.

Funny story though. I told a friend of mine that I was sitting there having a drink and smoking a Nub. She says, "What, are you smoking a leftover from yesterday?" :r

BTW...for reference I squeezed almost an hour and a half out of this vitola.
