The construction on this thing was good. A vein went through the wrapper and it did not have the spongey feel of the Peruvian ligero stick of theirs. It lit easily but burned somewhat unevenly until the second half thanks to the breeze blowing through today.

This cigar reminded me of the Vega Talanga Rojo. A wood notes with a vegetal flavor were offset with hints of sweet spice. Rather complex. It was rather smooth until the last third but that remedied by an easy purge.

I would buy this one over the Vega Talanga, the sweet spice is really what made this one win out for me. A little more expensive than the Talanga but still an excellent value.

Of all the cigars I've smoked in my lifetime, I'd give this one a 7/10, which is great considering those that scored higher cost at least thrice as much.
