To Nub or not to Nub?

I have yet to try a NUB but I am hearing lots of good things from BOTL who enjoy cigars that I love. Having said that, try a trade if you don't like a cigar and you have others left over from a larger purchase. Find someone willing to trade what they have and you would like to try with them for the NUBs.

I will not trade a dog-rocket to anyone I would like to get a decent cigar from in the future. I also give away a bunch of cigars too to other BOTL. Bring them with you to your next HERF. It's fun to go to a HERF where to can share and talk one-on-one with others who enjoy some of the better cigars. Let's someone know that you are serious about trading, sharing, and gifting with otheres who would like to try smoking something new.:D

I won't totally agree with you there...

I actually like the smallest NUB in the connie wrapper and will on ocassion drop the $4.75 I payed for them...
And Sam in my exp, can be a heck of guy...

But everyone has their own opinions... So Be It...
 
I smoked my first NUB Connie last night - I thought it was a better than an average stick. Lots of decent smoke and a pleasant flavor. I thought it pricy, but I got mine when the Oliva rep was here with a discount.

I smoked a Nub Habano on panama city beach this week. I thought it was great, and I personally would buy a box.
 
I've had them all and like them o.k. I think I like the cammie 358 the best so far. Had the Habano 460 at the CI Superstore and thought it was really good too. If you buy them, go to CI and buy singles (buy 4, get one free). You can get 5 between $22-25.
 
Being a fellow newb cigar smoker, I can definitely say Nub is an enjoyable smoke. I'm smoking a box cut cameroon at the moment, and couldn't be happier.
At 2-4 bucks a pop, these things last about an hour and are definitely worth the change.
