Tobacco a drug?

I thought these people had gone on vacation :hn I don't know when they stop with the controlling, but I am with Glenn Beck and ready with the pitch-forks. The anti-smoking nazis get me going everytime. Can't they just mind there own business, and quit worrying about what I do. :gn

This is hilariously stupid legislation for one reason that is not obvious.

The FDA gives a "seal of approval" to drugs. They will be ordered to "approve" tobacco. You can be sure they are not pleased about that!

:chk

Isn't tobacco already regulated???? You have to be an adult to buy any tobacco product. Aren't adults suppose to be able to make there own decisions. There are plenty of very dangerous hobbies/jobs that people do every day that I don't see the government getting involved in.

Inch by inch we creep closer to the socialist nanny state.

The original intent of negative constitutional rights has been forgotten.

Rather than having rights the government cannot infringe upon, "progressives" have twisted the idea of constitutional rights into what privileges the government allows us, the people.

This makes me sick.

I guess they assume that people will sit idly by so that eventually we can enjoy popping our nicotine pills after our 3 course pill dinner.

Party on!:bl Nothing to see here. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

Maybe this could be good thing.

What if they stopped the cigarette companies from adding all those nasty chemicals?
