Toraño Virtuoso

I picked up a Toraño Virtuoso the other day for whatever reason.

I dig this cigar a lot. For a dark cigar, it's sweet, but not overly so. Kinda like a Toraño Silver, but more subtle.

Great smoke if you have a chance to try one. Only about $6 too...

One of my fav's for sure. The Virtuoso was the first cigar that I just fell in love with.

Now the list is growing. :D

I have to agree, it is a great smoke. I just grabbed a couple five packs from c-bid last week for about $2.50 per stick.

I think someone else posted this somewhere too, but right now you can get a really great deal on 20 toranos for $40 on CI. It's one of the 3 specials you get during checkout.

I have to agree with you on this being a good cigar. I have only had 1 of the 5 that I have so far. However, two things struck me in particular with this cigar. The first was the smell. I didn't understand what the barnyard smell was like, until I smelled this cigar. The other point is, and I don't know if it's what I had eaten or drank earlier, but I found an honest to goodness twang in the cigar. A similar twang to what I have found with some Cubans. It was a definitely a very interesting experience. I guess I need to stop hording the other 4, and make sure it wasn't just a mistake :ss

Thanks for the suggestion. I've got one of these virtuosos resting in the humi now. I've been hesitant to light up another Torano ever since I was utterly disappointed with the 1916. I tried the Signature after that and was underwhelmed as well. Then I had 1 Casa from a sampler that got passed along so I never tried that one.

I do have higher hopes for this one... as long as yall don't set me up for another failure!:cb

Let us know what you think.

I'm in the same boat, I've been let down by all the other Torano's but the Virtuoso is still one of my fav's.

After reading this thread I had to come home and light one up. It was every bit as good as I remembered. I am glad I stocked up a great price.

I just lit the other one I bought the other day. It's seriously nice for the money.

I'm putting it on my list as a "go-to" cigar.

I smoked my first one of these a couple of weeks ago and was extremely happy with it. A great smooth flavor all the way to the end.

I agree that it's one of their best. I still rank their Exodus gold label a bit higher. Shop smart on cbid and you'll get them for less than $3/stick.

On Friday night I smoked one of these, courtesy of NCRadioMan, and I really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be picking up more.
