Turning 30 in a couple weeks! What to smoke?

Hey guys, I am a new smoker, and still really feeling out different cigars. I want to have a really nice one for my 30th, but not really sure what to get. I would like something memorable, and don't mind paying what it is worth for it.

So, what is the cigar that you remember most (for good reasons), that I have a reasonable chance of obtaining in 2 weeks time?

Try a Arturo Fuente Hemingway , either of these are very enjoyable - The Signature , Classic or the Masterpiece . The Short Story is equally good but you need something to last a little while longer . Happy Birthday ! Maybe update your profile so as to give us some hints as to what you might like in a cigar .

I'd go for a Padron 40th or Padron 80th Anniversary. Reason, I love Padron 1926s and these are cream of the crop, made for special occasions. $25 -$30 for a cigar is a great way to remember it.

Plus it costs $1 per year of your existence. :tu

Thanks.

They all sound pretty good so far. Maybe I should consider taking the day off and trying them all!:ss

Like I said, I am still trying to figure out what I like. My favorite so far has been the Cohiba Red Dot Crystal Corona. I didn't care much for the Drew Estates Root. The Romeo y Julieta Reserve Maduro was better than okay, as was the NUB Connecticut. I liked the Helix Tubular Natural, 5 Vegas Gold.

I have tried a couple others, but nothing else that really sticks out in my mind.

Happy 30th

Now while I agree with the padron recommendations and some of the others

Being new to cigars a little something special and different might be in order

The Gurkha royal salute. Its infused with remy Martin Louis XIII cognac. This is the 90 day infused one. Very nice. Very special occasion. Pricey but you won't forget it.

For the price of that cigar, you could buy a box of something nice. :2

I just turned 30 a couple of weeks ago.

My two birthday smokes was an Opus X and a PAM 26.

I've been turning 30 for 12 years.so I think you should just smoke an Opus X,
and Drink heavily.

And Happy B-Day..:tu

I would have to say go with the 26 80th maduro. I have never had one but I hear they are great. I have an Opus X from 04 that my wife bought me, that is stashed away for my 30th b-day.
