Vegas Cubanas Imperiales (torpedo)

ChestBeater
I just finished up one of these babies and was very satisfied. Sweet/honey earth, Nicaraguan nuttiness, a little black licorice, nice even tobacco taste, burnt toast notes and ever so slight pepper. I acquired these as part of a multi-box split at the Pepin event many of us locals attended last spring. The first tasting of these yielded a bland, slightly harsh cigar without much character. A year has done wonders and I am afraid I am burning through them quite quickly.

This is another of Pepin's fine smokes, I am glad to have them.
