Best Bring Kryptonite!
On the clubstogie.com main page, I noticed that Camacho was putting on a contest! Well, heck yea I'm in! Write, direct and produce an original 30-60 second commercial hyping the Camacho Corojo 10th Anni...I'm in!

So I've acquired the footage, edit it down, do some post....then I go check the website...and the contest got cancelled due to low participation. Well, crap.

Ok, so I know that the contest got cancelled - but I had already invested time, money, and effort into the whole affair that it seemed a waste NOT to finish it.

So I decided to finish it...well, 99.5% finished. I skimped on the final voice-overs and instead of having either a.) each actor to do their own voice, or b.) bring in a guy that does voice work for me from time to time - I decided to do it myself (with my unflatteringly FLAT voice) ... but you get the idea all the same! I also didn't do any post-production color correction.

Was damn fun doing it and atleast I was able to justify buying TWO BOXES of the Camacho 10th's (which by the way is one damn fine cigar!!!)

Turns out, that they liked it and put up on their site and notified me that I got some cigars coming my way! Woohoo! You can check it here.

Thanks for looking!

Very nicely done Aaron!!! To bad I can't smoke the 10th anni...I do not have my hologram seal of authenticity :ss

Cool video! But if we had our choice between seeing you or Jamie? Heh heh heh :tu

Look forward to seeing the trinkets they send your way. :ss

glad they did that for you because it's a cool video!

Great job on the commercial Aaron. :tu
Let us know if you do any more final production tweaking.
For a poker playing schmuck.....poke started it..

I am definitely not the most trendy guy out there, but this was very nice. I think the "uncut" look plays well to the "authentic" message.

Very nice.

So, do you like the stick? Is it worth the price?

Todd

Great job Aaron, must be what's kept you from posting lately. Other than your voice over (I agree, a tad flat), great video. The guy in the begining definitly looked the part and the poker table was a nice touch.
