Virginia Beach stogie shops?

hey all! I'm here in Virginia beach on vacation for a week and need sugestions on where to go to get some smokes! Also what is the law regarding smoking are there any bans? Ok on the beach? Are there any nice cigar bars to hang out at and smoke-n-drink? Thank you ahead of time for the info and sugestions!:ss
 
yeah I googled them too but I don't want to waste time at a hole in the wall and miss a nice place that is exactly what im looking for.
 
anybody know anything about M & M tobacco? i was thinking of stopping by there since its the closest. or what about Emerson's Cigar?
 
I've smoked on the beach b4, and have seen others do the same. The trick is getting the stogie lit! I had to go into a porta-john to do so! I'll be down there in three weeks for the Oceana Airshow- hopefully you'll find a nice shop you can recommend- I've never actually looked for a place to buy cigars down there- and I don't recall anything on Atlantic that sold "quality" cigars.
 
You should be fine for smoking on the beach. Virginia does not currently have any laws against smoking in public (outside), but I am not 100% sure if Virginia Beach has anything.
As far as good B&Ms go, I don't know of any down that way.

havent had any problem yet. i will be stopping by emersons today or tomorrow. ill update on what i think after going.
 
emersons is good, they dont treat you like a little kid, unlike one or two of the other shops in va beach (didnt see the purpose in remembering the names, i wont be going back). if i remember correctly, emersons has a good selection of davidoffs as well, pick yourself up something nice, i mean heck, you're on vacation right? :ss:ss

oh i will be picking something VERY nice up. so emersons it is. thank you everyone for your suggestions. i will update with a review later.
