What Cigar Size Do You Like?

I like torpedos...great looking smoke. Been moving towards smaller ring gauges though like coronas. I find the smaller ones to be stronger in strength, and fuller in flavor. Could it be the wrapper to filler ratio? Dunno but I like em. Also, I find it hard sometimes to put aside a couple hours for a longer smoke.

Usually I stick with mostly robustos and toros. But I love perfectos and long thin cigars like a lonsdale or panatelas

I just found the joy of double coronas... I've always loved the coronas and petite coronas, but I'm getting into robustos lately.

I really enjoy Churchills. For me, smoking a bigger cigar is a commitment. I am telling myself that I am going to enjoy this whole cigar, no interrupptions or exceptions. It is my time to unwind for a good hour or so.

I usually have smoked Rothschilds but I am beginning to enjoy toros and figuardos particularly small ones like the short story.

I have enjoyed cigars of most all shapes and sizes. But Id have to say my favorites are the Robusto, Toro, torpedo, Belicoso and perfectos. from say 48-58 gauge.:ss

I love the draw of a Pyramid/ Torpedo. I find the 52 ring gauge 156 length is very suited to the way I draw on the cigar. I have to say that I have a real hankerin' for trying a few churchills though.

prefer anything 50 RG or under, for length I prefer under 6" or less. I consider PCs to be my favorite.

On the good smokes, I've been trying to buy Robusto or Toro size to get the most for my $$.(wife says I'm cheap) For the cheapies, I pick for situations.

I like toro and beli's when I can take the time to enjoy them. Most of the time I grab a robusto, corona, or petite corona because they don't take as long and I hate not finishing a smoke.

I agree with several of the other fellows that started out with Churchills and are gravitating toward the smaller ring-gauge sticks.

For inexperienced smokers (like myself), don't forget to ask the guys at your local B&M, if you're fortunate enough to have a good one nearby. They will steer you in the right direction.

In my limited experience, it seems that the different sizes in the same "series", i.e. Padron '64, vary a lot in strength and flavors.

I recently lit up a small RG Opus that I'd been hoarding back, and it nearly knocked me on my rear...

Time is another factor, of course. If I just want a relatively quick smoke, I seem to always go back to the Hemmingway Short Story...not a lot of "wow", but predictable and good.

Just my :2

y new favorite is the corona size Short smoke. With the churchill's you have to set a long amount of time to enjoy which is fine when you have the time.
