What sticks would you buy?

I am a big Maduro guy. I smoke them probably 95% of the time. I have been wanting my next box purchase to be the Padron Londres Maduro, I have only had the naturals and enjoyed them. Anyone have any exerience with the Londres Maduros?
I already have a few boxes to start with. I have AF Double Chateau Maduro, CAO MX2 and HDM Epicure Maduro as well as many misc. singles.
I would love to buy a box of Padron 1964 Anniversary Exclusivo Maduros to age them. Those things are like smoking a Snicker's bar.

I would also consider the Onyx Robusotos and 5 Vegas Gold Toros from CI. Add shipping and it comes to about $114.00.

Quality over Quantity :tu

Yes!!!....you get what you pay for most of the time!!!
There are some good bargains out their...I would use the search mode on this forum...check out the top 25 site..etc.

My personal advice.....buy a box of Padron 3000's & El Rey Del Mundo Robusto's.
Try out the site below...I have bought from them and they have pretty good prices.

I check the top25 site daily, great resource. i'm with you on the El Rey Del Mundos, just smoked a robusto larga oscuro 2 days ago. Also TNTcigars do have the best pices on most sticks. Never had a 3000 Padron had the 2000. Much difference?
Have you ever tried TNT's anniversary alternatives, called the "Nicarauguan Box-Pressed", I think they're awesome with a little resting time, and at $1.30 a stick great deal.

So heres the challenge, I want to get two new boxes of cigars to put in my new cabinet humidor. I you only had 120 bucks what would you get?

OK, so how badly do you want "boxes" to put in your humidor? There are many great suggestions for you already. I'd pose another option.

Save the box purchase for something that you know is your absolute favorite, you're going to put 20-25 of one stick in your humidor. Is that what you want to do? I like to stockpile different cigars, because my tastes may not be the same from day to day.

With that in mind, I'd consider doing $120 of cigars, but do it in sampler packs. Cigar International has a bunch of those available. You can get multiple shapes of all sorts of brands - Gurkha, Romeo y Juliet, Rocky Patel, etc...

Here is their mega-sampler page: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/catDisp.asp?cat=106&page=all

But, as you consider that, here's something to help along the finances. First, they do a daily deal that gets you free shipping on your entire order... Visit their home page: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/ and on the right, near the top-center, you'll see the picture shown below. Click on it. The daily deal will pop up, usually 10 cigars, maybe even 20 cigars. Usually, the price near $2.00 a stick. Today's special is Macanudos, I'd pass.

Order the special, get your free shipping, put the snag on a couple samplers, and you can put between 40-60 cigars in your humidor.

Of course, if you want to do boxes, I am not sure that even the CI deal will beat the deal one brother suggested from Taboo. In fact, might have to check that out myself.

Just another idea to throw into the mix.

I hate it when CAD strikes.

Here's what you oughtta do, IMHO:

Take advantage of coupons... for example:

Taboocigars.com has a 33% off coupon for purchases over $60 (Type in pfix for the coupon code... note: You must type it in, can't cut & paste.). I just placed an order, and spoke with Rob over the phone. The Coupon expires really soon (like tomorrow).

I'd buy 1 box of Arturo Fuente 858s (natural). They're already on sale for $89.95 (which is $10 cheaper than most places). Take 33% off,
and you're down to $59.37.

Then (also from TabooCigars), I'd buy a box of Padron 2000 (Maduro). They don't list the box price, but you simply order 26 of em (which is the box amount) and they come in the box. SO... $3.75 each times 26 equals $97.50. 33% off of that is $64.35. (Note: TNT cigars has a box of these for $77.95, which is the best non-sale price I've seen... but obviously not as good as 33% off from Taboo.)

So that would be $123.72 for AF 8-5-8s and Padron 2000s. I just ordered 2 boxes from Taboocigars myself, and the shipping was $9 total.

It's a little over $120... but is two great boxes. You cannot beat the 33% off coupon which, again, only is good for another day or so.

Your other alternative is to lurk cbid and see what boxes you can get for $60ish... which might include RP Vintage, CAO, and possibly some other stuff.

I don't think you can beat the AF 858s and Padrons from TabooCigars.

I second this option, if you have not ordered already. Excellent prices and customer service from Taboocigars. Plus Connie will bake you some cookies if you put the word "Cookies" on the order. :2
