What to expect from the factories in Miami?

Good Day All;

I will be taking my yearly trip from Toronto to Orlando at the end of the month. This time we are planning a day trip to Miami. I'm hoping to visit the Padron and Pepin stores. Could you guys let me know what I should be expecting? Is it like Tampa Sweethearts where you have to purchase a box before you can get singles, and there are no cigars on display?

I'm still a rookie smoker and I'm enjoying purchasing singles until I find what I really like/dislike. Will I be able to find things like the Padron 40th and 80th or Tatuaje's?

Any other tips or advice?

Thanks all.

This isn't true at Tampa Sweethearts, I stop in whenever I go through Tampa and pickup singles, they usually have a limit of 2 of each type of the rares though.

Yea i think thats just for their online ordering site... you have to spend like 25 bux before you can order the rare stuff but if you show up in person they allow you to bypass that rule i believe

Here was the info I got when I was asking about the factories on Calle Ocho. The Padron Factory is in a little different part of town but there are like seven factories in about a ten block walk on 8th street (Calle Ocho)

Note for the cigar live forum I had the same problem of not being able to see the all important first post in the threads and fixed it by going to display modes and selecting threaded mode.

If you are in Orlando, stop by Corona Cigar, which claims to be the largest store in the world, which I am not sure of.

You will find all the cigars you need.

Let me know if you are gonna be there.

Don't mean to hijack but I have a four hour lay over in Miami on my way to Barbados in June and was wondering if 4 hours is enough to run anyway and pick a few smokes up for the islands? I will be taking some with but could always use more :tu

Yes the Costco of cigars! I will defiantly be there a few times to fill in the blanks. I figured I can get close to MSRP at the factory, and when in Rome :)

Corona is pretty much at MSRP except on some really rare cigars.

Go to the factories to enjoy what you see, don't expect much different prices.
