Whats a good BOX for the Winecoolidor?

got about 60 loose smokes and I need to put them in something, right now they are just on a plastic sheet in my winecoolidor. I just got 3 boxes of Brazilia Gols and unfortunately the boxes are all paper and cardboard.

Kinda sucks.

Whats a good brand that is good for aging cigars in a Winecoolidor?

I would suggest just about any cabinet style box with a slidding top that can be removed. There are soo many brands that use the I wouldn't even know where to start.

These are really nice, or for instant gratification, you can also check with your local B&M for any empty Spanish Cedar boxes that will accomidate the size of the smokes you are looking to store. Un-varnished boxes are best from what I have read, which makes sense - you don't want the potential fumes from the varnish.

Some of the Fuentes sold under another name are excellent spanish cedar boxes. Montesino, Ashton, La Unica Cameroon, Peterson, to name a few.

I really like the Montesino Super Belicoso and Peterson Beli and churchill due to quality of wood and size.

This is true IF there is a decision maker present. Most places charge a dollar for wooden and fifty cents for cardboard - still a great bargain for quality spanish cedar boxes.

You can tell cedrela odorada(Spanish Cedar) by the smell. The best ones reek of it!

The Padron boxes are good because they are sturdy and have a good hinged top. They are designed to last because Padron recycles their boxes.

I agree, most of the boxes in my cooler are from Padron or Fuente - they seem to hold up the best.

For some reason though, I kinda like to empty the boxes out my self..........:ss
