What's the coldest you've ever smoked in?

Last week I smoked a cigar in my attic (live with a friend of mine and no insulation up there) It was -10 or so outside so I figure it was maybe 10-15 degrees where I was. Had jeans and a sweatshirt on but my hands were freezing... did make it like 3/4 of the way through though before going back to the heated main level

I hate the winter!! If it wasn't for family and my job I'd be down south somewhere. Preferably Tampa or Miami.

Anything on the (-)negative spectrum is to cold for me to smoke a cigar. Im grateful for my garage and space heater. Id say it doesn't drop below 40 unless I open the door for some ventilation.

probably 30°F for me.

I hate the cold weather though....I'm thinking about enclosing my carport and turning it into a garage in the spring, though..... i just lack the know how...and funds. but maybe i can work something out :hn

Cold in Dallas??? Most of you would laugh :r But the coldest the g/f and I have endured was around 35°, and we were FREEZING!!@

I'm originally from Acapulco tho, so I'm used to a tropical climate. :)

I had one last week when it was -19, less wind chill.
I was huddled in front of my parabolic heater in the garage, but had the passage door open to allow some smoke out, and I could feel the cold creeping in.
It got so cold that I put down my 1/3 finished, 1st ever ERDM Grande de Espana :hn

-35 while on deployment. We surfaced through the North Pole. no wind but any bare skin, forget about it. Oh and btw it dosent make for a good cigar, way to dry. Memorable but didint taste good. (opus X)

I stayed in a tiny cabin up in North Georgia over the holidays and the coldest it got was 18 degrees. LOVED IT!!

Awe heck, had to be around 70 degrees I think. Man, I was cold. Just plum freezin' if you know what I mean.

ONLY KIDDING :r

Last year I was smoking in 35 degree weather using a table top propane heater. Damn cold for Phoenix.

I tried one a couple weeks ago when it was about 30 out, which is freezing down here! Then again I've only been at this for about a month, so I really haven't had a nice day to have a smoke.

I think it's a shame to smoke a cigar in less-than-optimum conditions. Sitting freezing your ass outside vs. sitting in a warm comfortable chair with good company almost certainly means you'll enjoy your smoke more. :2

I speak from personal experience, of course. ;)

well... outside it was 2degrees F. but i was in my garage but i had to have the door cracked half way and i have no space heater or anything. so without the wind i dunno maybe 4ish?

Hey... it's 41 degrees here just a bit east of Chicago and a touch south of the lake! That's downright tropical for this time of year. I'M GOING TO GO SMOKE RIGHT NOW!!! Woohoo!

And I have to hurry. Forecast is for it to drop about 40 degrees overnight... back to the way winter is s'posed to be.

Right now, we're having one of those, um, late January severe thunderstorms? Can't say we see a lot of those. Which is why it's a great time to smoke!

It's currently -54C with the wind where I am (that's -63.8F for you southern folk) and I'm thinking there's no way in God's green earth I could even light a cigar, let alone smoke it. And I really want one...

So, what extremes will you brave to enjoy a cigar?

-63, Good God where do you live Alaska. I am in California, so the coldest I have smoked in is maybe 40 degrees, and I thought that was bad.............

Where you at? Munster, Hammond?

Just wait. You're getting what we had yesterday in Central Minnesota. Yesterday was 45 and beautiful for the Leaf. Right now, 45 below windchill! 2 hits on a cigarette on the deck and that's enough.

I love Minnesota, but this is the time of year when I'm ready for some warmth.:pp
