Exactly. I buy all my boxes and samplers on line, but pick up a couple singles at my B and M every week. Love hanging out there, and cultivating those relationships has brought me some good friends and nice hook ups on items not so readily available on line all the time.

Don't laugh, I spent many years buying cigars at Walgreens before I had any clue that cigars could be good. :r
I think most of the folks on this board would LIKE to buy their cigars from B&Ms but like me, if you live in a state with absolutely ridiculous tax rates on cigars, it's almost impossible to justify the cost.
I still like to go into the B&M and browse and pick up a stick or two, but I can't really justify doing that much more these days. It was fine when I was just starting out and had some "impulse" buy cigars that I wanted to try out, but these days, I've pretty much settled on the blends I know I like and those the price difference from online vs. B&M around where I live are easily >75%.
Seriously, I have no idea how a B&M that sells only tobacco related products in the state of Washington can stay in business let alone turn any kind of significant profit.

I keep that same mentality... Yes, cigars are cheaper on the internet, but it's damn hard to sit and smoke one at the internet.
The majority come from the 'net, but I like to keep my favorite B&M around, so I'll pick up a few sticks a month.

I'm probably the only one with this situation, but the vast majority of my collection has come from other BOTLs here via the WTS forum, a contest and a bomb. Other sources are Famous, CI, my B&M and Davidoff of Geneva Las Vegas.
I just like the samplers people throw together in the WTS forum and the insane deals they give you. The online stores don't usually have the kinds of samplers that you can find there.

Like most here...check out who wants to sell/trade from this site, since you're dealing with knowledgeable people. Taboo and New Havana has been my online retailers of choice in recent months. When in the neighborhood will check out a B&M who always been good to me. Because cigars are not my only weakness, I get a few sticks from a coffee shop where the women working there are pure eye candy.
