Say no to curried goat!
I was curious what most people would prefer to use in a cabinet humidor. (say 20 to 25 cubic feet)
The Cigar Oasis II would most likely be the old style without the control on the cable.

Also, where do you get replacement foam for the Oasis? It says it should be replaced every 2-3 years. Could you use foam from a florist or is it a special type?

Thanks for the help, I tried to search but couldn't find the answers.

Why worry about your humidifier as long as you have a good one.
I think it is more important to have a good digitel hydromiter.:chk:tu:al:ms:ss
Good luck,

I don't know which one is better. I did take the foam out of my Cigar Oasis and replace it with super-absorbent polymers, which won't degrade like the foam but still hold lots of water in solid form.

I have a Moist-N-Aire Humidifier and Love it

My Local BM suggested the Moist N Aire and uses them in all his Humi's

Constant air circulation is sometimes just as important as maintaining stable humidity. Variances in humidity may occur at certain levels in the cabinet, such that some opt to have fans and/or beads such that consistency can be achieved. Then again, how your humi performs depends on how well you monitor it.
