White Ceder in humidors?

I did a search and didn't find anything on it. I was wondering how well white ceder would work in a humidor? If anyone ever tried or heard about it.

thanks

I believe that white cedar is classified as an aromatic which would make it a bad choice for a humidor. Over time its aroma would infuse the cigars and change their taste. Much better off trying to find the Spanish cedar or use some mahogany. Just my :2, hopefully others will chime in.

Spanish cedar is not really a "Cedar" plenty of searches here on it! Proper spelling will help in a search! :tu Regular cedar is very aromatic (the wrong way) and very resinous (bad) Hope this helps!

Yes it does thanks. Someone I knew had a lot of white cedar and was curious if it could be used in a humidor.
