My list would be very similar to Peter's and Tom's, save a few names on theirs, but similar.

Each herf is special for a variety of reasons, from the cigars that are shared, to that particular place in time. But the people you meet and the old friends you get to talk to again, is what truly makes it for me.

Great thread, good for remembering some special times.

Wow some really impressive lists here...Personally I've only herfed with neighbors and friends. Nobody on CS :(

Any Albany, NY gorillas out there?

Lets see... I've herfed with quite a few people... I can't remember all of them..
Cigar Gal is the most memorable, as she made a LONG trip to herf. I also used to herf with BagfullofPings on a regular basis, as well as Drazzil and a couple others.

I have herfed with many, and where I may forget some of the cigars smoked, I remember the laughter and Brotherhood always. I think 60 or 70 would make the list, and afterwards, I always hope to spend more time with the brothers I wasn't able to talk with enough. One of the drawbacks of herfing in a larger group, I suppose, but the flip side is that larger herfs tend to be hilarious. ;)
 
To avoid the possibility of leaving anyone out, all I'll say is the list is quite large.
 
Living in NW Montana as I do (not exactly a hot-bed of herfing), I have had little opportunity to herf with anyone. I have, over the years, had the good fortune of sharing a stick or six with some few of the gang at CF, and a good friend who comes by two or three times a month for a day of cigar sucking, but unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of sharing BS and cigars with anyone from CS. *pooh*

EDIT: OH, MY GOD!!!! HOW IN THE HECK COULD I FORGET THAT GREAT GET-TOGETHER IN WYOBOB'S GARAGE??!!!
The wife and I were headed back from Chicago last fall and we dropped in on Bob and his dear wife in Buffalo. Spent several hours before heading out the next day filling the garage up with smoke (it's heated!). Great time. END EDIT

I don't travel much, so should any of you gorillas find yourselves in my neck of the woods, LMK and we'll arrange a herf. And if, during one of the few times they let me out, I should manage to make it somewhere more populous, I shall endeavor to contact the Jungle beforehand and make some suitable arrangements for engaging in the fine art of "sucking stick." :ss -- and no smart-ass comments, please! :D
