I like the locker room style of :BS that is spread around here. If someone says something out of line they get hammered a little. 99% of the time it's without malicious intent, generally good natured at it's core and funny.

Boys will be boys so if you don't like the heat get out of the kitchen or if you don't like heat, don't start threads that put a target on your head.

At least he still has his RG intact. In the short time I have been here I have noticed when someone rubs someone or a group the wrong way their RG takes a beating and goes in to the negatives. So Spectre1 I think your in good shape and people are not really all that pissed at you. I think people are more or less bustin' your chops!

fyi - I think you'll generally find it takes more than a mild 'rubbing the wrong way' to see ring guage dropping that substantially.

Ahhhh....I just love how he uses that word (NOT)...however, at least I now have one our younger Florida brethren running blocking for me, so there...:bx

Hey.. I AM a florida brethren.. sort of... lived in Naples for 16 years.. that count for anything? Just moved to Atlanta.. whee! And anyone who wants to :bx.. well.. can we wrestle instead? I have short arms, so that puts me at a disadvantage for boxing! :r

Last night, I was reading the board – spectre1 had 4-5 threads near the top of the first page and I think 8 on the first two pages. It struck ME as funny, nothing more – nothing less. I posted the poll (because this place, in my time here, is a bit poll heavy) as a joke. Some of you that may not have been amused, and so my humble apologies are in order. I have nothing against spectre1, as my fellow ‘newbie-in-arms’ we need to stick together – right?

What I do find laughable is when someone ‘dings’ you because they don’t find the joke humorous. So I will say this now - if you so care, please get the dings out of the way so we can move forward. No hard feelings, no ill-will. If I come across any of you that do on my home board, I won’t mention it and let it pass. What happens here – stays here. I’m a big kid, can take my punches, lick my wounds and walk away with my head held high.

What I also find amusing is I am a pretty active member/post whore on another board. With over 5300+ posts (did I mention I’m a post whore?), I’ve hardly made a blip on the controversial radar screen. But in my time here, a place known for being friendly and accepting, I’ve already found a way to piss off a NUMBER of members with my controversial posts. . .

I’ll continue to participate, try to learn the personalities and flow of the board, and contribute when I see fit. I do like this board and I’ll give it some more time to see if it’s accepting of me and if right for me personally.

Again, I offer my apologies to those I’ve offended.
