I believe that I've hit the point where I would rather my own personal collection to my B&M's. Not the value, just the specific smokes. In the spirit of that I'll post a poll.

Which would you prefer; to be locked inside your B&M with access to their whole collection, or to be locked in a room with your personal collection.

It isn't a hobby to just smoke. I prefer my own.

That is a tough one.

I picked the B&M b/c I am new and I could try new stuff

My humi has the stuff I really like.

Good question! :tu

My own.
The B&M's I frequent seem to store their cigars with just a bit more humidity than I perfer. I usually buy a few from there and stick them in my humidor for a couple of weeks before smoking them.

But they certainly have a bigger collection of Ashton VSGs than I do, so it might be a wash. :ss

My own of course! Like it has been said, it is part of the hobby.

B&M's near by are not very good, but I do seek out stores when I am on the road. Really enjoy rummaging through a good B&M. :)

I am 1000 air miles from my closest B&M in Winnipeg so realistically I don't even have one!

Once my closet humidor project is complete I will be loading up for the purposes of aging - 20 years into this hobby seemed a fine time to start!

I would rather be locked in my personal humi cause it's got all my favorite smokes, But I would have a slot in the wall to accept new arrivals

Once you get settled in with brands you like, I don't think anything can beat the comfort of home, and you get the humidity and burn you expect.

But, to echo what some have said, when I do smoke at a B&M, I find myself trying something new.

I have a small humi. I like what I have, but my BM is at the perfect temp/humidity and has Everything I smoke.

I had to go with my B&M's humi. They stock some of my all time favorite NC cigars, and if I had access to the back room, I would have the best of both worlds.

I've gotta pick the B&M for now.

My humi has about 20 or so of the cigars I know I like along with 10 or so others I'll soon be trying. Almost 100% of the cigars in the B&M humi are new to me and unexplored territory (looking forward to the exploring !!!).

So from my vantage point here at the TOP of the slope the B&M has more to offer - a year from now will likely be a different story. :D

My collection is too anemic; I just have the one humi, full with about 30 cigars. I don't even know if I like all of them yet. I'm still promiscuously hopping from cigar to cigar, trying to discover what I like and what I don't like. So far, I like just about everything!

The local B&M has boxes and boxes of cigars I know I like.
