For all those interested, rumor has it the Guatemalan Zaya will in fact be discontinued, though a new version will be distilled and bottled in Trinidad, supposedly by the folks at Angostura.

I can't speak to the credibility of the poster, but his other posts definitely sound like he's somewhere within the industry.
I'm a fan of the Angostura 1919 and 1824 rums, so I've got faith in the master blenders and distillers to produce another top shelf rum, whether it be identical to the current Zaya or not.
