    Thompson Humidor

That is a good lookin humi... I'd look to see if I could knock out the divider in the bottom...looks like it was pit in as a fix for the cases not fitting the lovely holes at top. Tho they may have done it right and the bond is solid. Dremel to cut it down? :) I'd also keep it as it looks...

    Anyone Collect Cigar Tobacciana?

I reallyu enjoy tobaccoianna. Things that made smoking easier like the add it to your car dash, pipe tobac filler..Different tamps and pics, how innovative Thorens lighters were. Palio cigar cutter for big (nay...huge) fingers

Here's an idea of relative size of the Xikar, Palioand a generic. You may have probs with fat fingers and the palio. You will definitely NOT have this concern with the Xikar. Tom T

Different ways of storing, housing, containing RH Beads...

Ted, you're right when it comes down to the cost of distilled water. It'd be a shame to ruin beads just for not using distilled water in the bowl. Not so much a matter of cost but of convenience. The distilled was in the basement and the tap was at hand :)

Don't skimp on the good cigars

I was driving a distance today. Smoking a Perdoma Cabinet Selection Torpedo. Cut it at an angle and it was pure heaven. I was thinking that I should stock my humidors with nothing but the quality that I really like. I think I am getting to the point where I can open any humidor and a superior...

Different ways of storing, housing, containing RH Beads...

Hmmmm Is this getting into the negative zone...just cause I chose tap water to use in my first charging of the beads???? WOW!!! It's probable that I'm just a little dulled to the humor of it all. If the beads haven't gained any charging tomorrow, I will spray the beads using distilled water...
