Goal: 1,000,000,000 posts
All this for $70! Not too shabby for a great stick!

I had one of those not to long ago and thought it to be pretty good. They are my Dad's new favorite. Nice haul :tu

I hate to rain on this parade but this cigar isn't worth smoking if it was free. I found human hair in one and the other wouldn't stay lit. I guess the moral of the story is to not get caught up in MSRPs.

Thats funny!

I think they are worth what you pay, less than $2 a stick...nice everyday kickin around smoke in my op. I still want to know the story behind them and whether Graycliff has anything to do with them.

I have to disagree. But I haven't found any hair in mine...
The MSRP is very inflated on these, and I would guess that CI won't ever sell them at $19/stick. But I think they are definitely worth $5-$6 each.

Never mind that they have a Graycliff band on them with is probably worth another $2-$3... :r

Nice buy there, Boondoggle! :tu

Great score. You must be the guy who keeps outbidding me! well, not always.

I found a curly hair in my teeth today, but did sleep at a Holiday Inn last night....

NO WAY! I was thinking the EXACT same thing! Debbie Downer! :r

Yeah...I probably should've keep that post to myself. I was merely disappointed because I had such high hopes for the smokes as a result of the trade. When I think of the smokes that I let go to get the graycliff's a little tear came to my eye.

But that's why this hobby is so great, the subjective sense of taste. I say smoke 'em up!

I like the flavor of the 1666, but the construction on the ones I've had has been spotty. But I'd buying all day at 2-3 bucks a pop.

I like them a lot, but not like the Emerald or Blue labels by a long shot.

I had someone tell me they went on a tour of Rocky Patel's factory and was told they roll the 1666s in Honduras, which I took with a large grain of salt as this is the same guy who told me several other tall tales.

For me, there are few, if any, cigars that have the consistency and construction of a Graycliff as well as the complexity.
