I'll have to quote my post as it seems nobody is reading it. The things are not efficient. The best you'll get is 10 degrees lower than the ambient. Raise it to 66 and see where it stands.

The problem is the efficency of the vinotemp. It has no chance to cool down to 57. Set it to 66 and see what it reads. What is your ambient temp? From the manufacturers website

Generally I've been smoking alot of churchills. I was on a RyJ kick until I ran out, though I have since solved this problem. I don't have many opportunities to smoke so when I do I usually reach for something that I know is smoking well and will provide 2 hours of enjoyment.

I liked them but have found the quality to be going down hill.

What is several days? These things take forever to stabilize. How are you storing your cigars in the vinotemp? I would take beads over active humidification in a vinotemp. Set the vinotemp to 66 degrees, walk away, and don't touch it for at least a week. Just my :2

I really like my Blazer PB-207. It's very reliable and hold ALOT of fuel.

If your ambient temps are somewhere in the mid 70's your vinotemp is going to run alot, i.e. suck out alot of moisture, to maintain those temps. I suggest you set it at 66 and see what your results are.

It takes quite awhile for these vinotemps to stablize. Have some patience and see what happens. What do you set the vinotemp on when you have it running?
