Do you spit?

Useless cigar survey of the day....:ss

I love cigars! But I have a disgusting habit of creating a miniature 'Lake Superior' with all the spit I hock up during my herf session.

A few of my stogie friends dot the ground with the same pattern of spit as a gum-ridden New York City subway platform as well.. :dr Others do not.

Just curious if I need to go to Spitter's Anonymous - or do a majority of stogie lover's also tattoo sidewalks as well.

Are you a spitter? :cb

I don't spit if the cigar is perfect and tasty. The more I spit the more I am obviously not enjoying it. That is not to say I won't put up with cigar that makes me spit a little but if I am spitting excessively on more than one of the sticks I put any remaining on hold for 6 months to a year to try again. For a newbie smoker you may be spitting excessively if you are drawing too often or if your cigar needs to be purged.

The spit test has nothing to do with the first few draws which can be bitter even on the best sticks.

You wanna read something crazy?

NC's make my saliva glands go NUTS and I spit all the time.

CC's NEVER do that to me.

I would love to know why that is. Any FOG want to educate me please?

You enjoy cubans more. If your natural instinct is to spit there is something you don't like. Over-aged medium NC's will make me go nuts.

I don't spit, but i have friends that do.

I always drink a bottle of Perrier when smoking though, so maybe that has something to do with it?

I'll tend to spit more at the end of the cigar. If I have a drink then I usually do not spit but if I don't have a drink I'll spit more frequently.

I didn't start until recently, and I have found that I do it constantly now. Good or bad, I will spit smoking an Opus, VSG, etc. It's annoying, but its become a habit.

I do not spit uness the stick is bad and then I spit it out and give the stick a new life as natural fish food:2
