    An observation about aged NCs

Price and availability are a big issue. Gotta remember that the aged or vintage market for NC is relatively young compared to Cuban cigars. Might be a food chain issue as well. Many here may have started with NC cigars and gravitated to Cuban cigars over time. Those getting started are not as...

    Boveda One step seasoning?

Personally I think these devices are ... well they are like .... ummm well sort of like... hmmm... OK.. $ 8.00 refrigerator deodorizers - nice lil plastic containers filled with 1/2 oz baking soda. :) What stasis point your new humi starts in has a big impact on how many of these you need. If...

    Puff Puff Pass??

Voted No. However, I think PPPing is a wonderful way to get exposed to and understand different cigar flavors which are more easily highlighted by the contrast between cigars in contrast with other cigar flavors.

    The three C's.

Played out again a couple weeks ago. Friday night Tom, Jeff and I smoked the last of the Partags 98 898V's from the box we cracked at SH I while watching the sunset. Cigars just don't taste any better.

Can a cigar age too much?

Depends on the cigar and how its kept. Smoked a 100 year old Partagas last weekend that... well it was still pretty good stuff. If I had a choice between smoking 2 identical vitolas perfectly stored ... older generally speaking would be the choice. Properly stored, time does good things to...

    Cohibas- Real or Fake

The real issue is who gifted them to you and where did they get them from. It's only 2 cigars. I'd smoke em and thank the person who gifted them to you.

    Acids for the Troops

    Kuba Kuba vs Cremosa???

It's a hard one. Buy a box and bundle of each. Only a full box of smoking of each will really do the call justice. We need photos of each 1/8 inch smoked on each cigar along the way as well. :D Kuba Kuba has that kitty litter perfume like flavor you get when you open the bag. Cremosa has...

    USPS: did postage just double?

I dont think the video boxes are flat rate per se. They still 4.80 from and to any postal zone under 1 lb. Over 1 pound they go on the zone to zone scale by weight.
