Thoughts and Prayers for GGainey's Fam

Greg, I can't even begin to imagine the tragedy you and your family are dealing with. But you will get through it. Keep your chin up, and please let us know if we can do anything. Take care buddy. We're still praying for your family.

    Supporting your LB&M

I like supporting my local B&M when I can. We only have a small one locally, and their selection has been pretty slim lately. The last time I went in they had closed up the small walk in humi, and are just using the display cases out front. THey also are sticking with premiums only for now...

    CAO Italia

Thanks for the review. You kind of motivated me to smoke the one that's been lurking in my humi for a couple months. I love the Brazillia, so I thought I's give this a try. I'm on the first third and I have to say that I'm not impressed. I'm on my first third, but so far it's pretty bland...

    Pics from Jacksonville Herf

That was a great time guys :tu Edward's has a great spot down there. Great prices and a huge selection. I enjoyed meeting everyone and look forward to the next get together :ss I gues I'm used to smoking outdoors, because I have never reaked of cigars so much in my life!. I can still smell...

Stoped at a new B&M (pics)

I haven't been to Edwards yet, but we have a herf scheduled there next weekend. It looks like I'll have to brown bag it this week to save money for cigars :ss You should try to make it back there next Saturday.

    Too humid to smoke (outside)

I would like to think that the RH in the house with the AC going is less than 65%. I did just order a digital hygrometer, so I can see for sure. Thanks for the tips :tu

    Too humid to smoke (outside)

I recently put 65% beads in my humi (it's been at about 70% RH) and I plan to start dry boxing for a couple days before smoking. We'll see if that helps.

    Too humid to smoke (outside)

Glad it's not just me. I smoked one tonight, and it burned fine. I just didn't nub it.

    Too humid to smoke (outside)

I was smoking a cigar on the back porch last night during a light rain. I got to the last third of the cigar and it went out. I re-lit, but the cigar was mushy and all of the sudden, very heavy draw. It makes sense that it absorbed enough moisture and was just too wet to smoke. The problem is...

    Wives

I was thinking the same thing about my wife yesterday. Though her resume' is not as impressive as your wife's, she is a certified massage therapist and a wonderful mother. I only started regularly smoking cigars a couple months ago. I told her last week that there was a box of cigars I wanted...

    Double Maduro / Extra Fuente

I just ordered a box of Double Maduro Quixote's last night after reading all the great reviews here. I haven't tried any yet but at that price, I had to buy a box. I told my wife that's what she is getting me for my birthday :bl

    Coolidor and Temperature Control

I'm dealing with the same issue myself. I don't have the space for a vino or the like, so I've decided to just do small tuperador (2 boxes) with beads kept in a dark closet. The temp inside is 78*, probably a bit cooler in the closet. It's the best I can do right now. There is an old wine...

    A Thompson Cigar Experience

I think it's because Thompson does more advertising than any other cigar retailer I've seen, and people just don't realize there are better sites out there.
