I've never had anything like that happen with a Brazilia. I have a bunch of Piranha, Samba and Lambada. They age nicely, too. Most of mine are 4 - 6 yo.

I prefer 48qt coolers. They stack nicely in the closet and I kinda use em like file cabinets, putting catagories of cigars with their mates. (not putting all my eggs in one basket.)
