1st CI purchase....not pleased

CI has been very good to me. Never had a problem.
maybe your shipment just got mixed up somehow.
But no one likes it when they have to wait longer to smoke!
 
Ordered quite a bit from CI and to date have not had a problem. I am sure they will take care of you.
 
I have had one problem with an order, it was taken care of with a phone call. They have since performed well.
Give them a chance, you may become a loyal customer :tu
 
My friend bought this same deal. He got both the same day, I'm not sure if they came in the same box though. I'm sure they'll fix the problem if they did make a mistake though...I got one box from them that was moldy and a ne box was at my door in two days after the email.
 
So I had ordered the First Class Sampler w/ Humidor. Finally after storing some cigars over at my buddies coolerador I get a package and think I can store some of my personal good ones in the humi after I smoke something from the sampler.

Well to my surprise there were no cigars in the humi. I was a little upset but I called CI and they were going to send out the cigars. Anyhting like this ever happened to anyone before with CI? I thought they would be pretty reputable.

CI will do you right no worries. These things happen occasionally but last year I prolly bought 40 boxes off them without incident.
 
Personally I never used CI - I'm still trying to determine the best online supplier - any comments?

However I have used a few others, I have only had 1 issue. I received a bundle with beetles. This company rectified the problem and sent me 5 free samples from their personal line. So I can see it's not just CI - other companies make mistakes as well. my :2.

Depends on what you like to smoke....If you like premiums, I think Holts has a pretty good inventory, and their shipping to me has always been excellent. Prices aren't the lowest, but sometimes they stock some harder to find cigars and run some decent specials.

There are plenty of retailers here in the Jungle that members think are excellent, again just depends on what you like to smoke.
 
Every company makes mistakes.

We had a customer order a software upgrade, and instead got a mariachi CD in the package....no clue how that happened, but it gave both the customer and I a good laugh :)
 
I've only had one issue with them when I won a CAO cigar bag that was supposed to come with a DVD and CAO cutter. Neither of which was included. E-mailed them and they said they didn't have either one and it was an accident to post that on the auction page. They instead sent me a Xikar cutter overnight. I thought they did a good job!
 
CI is one of the tops. :tu They have always made good in my experience, except for the bundles of Pirate's Gold in the bottom of my humi. Of course I was the one who picked them out, ordered them, and attempted to smoke them, but they could have at least thrown up one of those automated warning screens shouting "ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO BUY THESE? REALLY?" when I placed the order.

I have had nothing but good luck with CI. Even after my office building messed up delivery and they sat for a weekend, the first one was still smokeable after work on Monday.
 
I ordered this sampler and the cigars came in the box and everything was as advertised. On the other hand, I received a separate sampler and several of the cigars were all dried out and looked horrible. One call to their CS and they sent a return envelope and replacements at the same time. I'm sure they'll fix the problem.
 
I had a package once not show up, when I called they immediately sent a second package and then 3 days later the original and the new package showed. When I called them to return the extra smokes they said to just keep them. In my opinion Customer Service is not about always doing right the firs time but also about how you recover from your mistakes. If they make good then I would use them again.

I had a similar situation with them (Cbid).

I ordered something and it was lost but the smokes I wanted then went on backorder so they couldn't send them out right away. I told them to send them when they got them...No big deal.

so a few weeks later I get an email with a shipping notice...standard stuff. Instead of the one box I ordered they sent two boxes...They sent two boxes to make up for DHL losing the original order and me having to wait.

A+ Customer service if you asked me...
 
ci just kicks azz...

I got a dented bundle of
something that cost me 80$ cat remember... when I got home from work next day... a new bundle was in my breezeway.

I can't say anything negative about CI either. I've always been happy with there cigars, shipping time etc. Give them another shot and thanks for your service.
