I usually cut torps at an angle to get more surface area out of the cut. Don't know if it really makes a difference but works for me.
You will have better luck with the SP's if you use a punch. They are notorious for having cap problems. I also use an angle cut on most torps or beli's.:2
I've noticed that. Most of the time, the cap just comes off no matter how careful I am. I guess I'll have to invest in a punch.

I usually end up cutting them at angles since I have absolutely no Depth Perception.... Never yet had a problem , wouldn't know what to do if I cut one straight :ss
Once I cut a cigar crooked and smoked it anyway then next thing I knew I woke with a girl who looked like Carlos Fuente, but with a bigger moustache.:ss
hehe, glad to know I'm not the only one... :ss
