He doesn't regularly smoke cigars or anything else. As a matter of fact his restaurant Madidi is all non-smoking. He told us that in each movie he gets a cigar at the start of shooting and never lights it until the wrap party when all of the shooting is done. Hopefully in the next movie, he will be holding an Avalon, but we don't have any official deal with him.

We are however, exploring the idea of putting an Avalon Cigar Lounge upstairs at Madidi with a seperate vent/smokeeater system. This way the patrons can enjoy a smoke and you won't be able to notice it from the dining room or the bar.
 
What are you're store hours on Saturday? I might take a ride up and come check out the place, I'll bring the camera and post up some pics for the gorillas.
 
I have to say, the website is both aesthetically pleasing and frames up the mood of the cigars quite nicely. It makes me want to smoke some, that's for certain. I really like the juke-joint / blues masters theme. Good work.

As far as the cigars, I'm definetely interested in trying them now that I've browsed the site. If you want an honest lay-person assessment of a cigar(s), I'd be interested in providing a review. If not, I'll probably end up buying some on the appeal of the site anyway. Pecan aging process eh ? Interesting....
 
Very nice website . have been a big blues fan for years I am looking forward to trying some of your cigars and hope you post often here to let us know more of your cigars. Do you sell cds in your store too? When you do offer cigars for review please keep me in mind:cb

The place is not really set up as a true retail store. It's more of a model store to showcase our products. Also, if someone wanted to open an "Avalon Store" or "Avalon Lounge" the store is a way for us to show them how it should look. All of that being said, we don't keep regular "store hours." By tomorrow, I should know who will be here on Saturday and what times. If you let me know when you will be getting to town, I can make sure someone meets you at the shop.

Mike (Pathman) is a very generous Gorilla. In a recent purchase of the tasty Xocai chocolates, Mike sent me some tag alongs with the chocolates. 2 of which are some tasty looking Avalons ! The capped foot on the Juke is a very interesting looking smoke. I can't wait to smoke these !
