While I do think it is impressive to have solid wood, that when people say what is that, and you open it up, you have the "ooooh" factor. However I will probably get glass when I get a cab in a few years, just cuz I like looking at my sticks.
 
Mine's glass. I don't seem to get enough done in the "office" since getting my cabinet-I just keep looking and admiring it and drooling at the stogies staring back at me.

This is actually a tougher decision than I thought because I agree with both train of thoughts stated here. I love the raised panel doors because it makes it look like a nice peice of furniture and its only 48'' tall so on top I could put a classy bar set-up. On the other hand I look in my 3 desk tops ever day just to get a peek at my sticks. I do love the look of the boxes all arranged behind the glass though. The only thing I'm worried about is I'm sure that most of the shelves will be boxes stacked on top of one another and thats not very attractive behind glass doors. I'm wondering if he'll customize it for me and have the top of the door glass were the angled shelf is, and the bottom 2/3's solid were the boxes will be stacked. hmmm decisions decisions :ss
