Cabinet humidor buying experiences?

Also, FWIW I did win mine on cbid. It was about the 5th one I bid on. I got lucky and got it very cheap. Set yourself a price point including delivery and be patient, it will happen and the money you save you can use on sticks to fill it.

I got a "tower of power" cabinet model. The problem is that it is not air tight. I have had to put clamps on the door to seal it up. What are you going to do when it would cost soo much to send it back? Other than that it's great.

Yes, I understand that, thanks. $100 to move it from the street into the house is way too much. $20 would be more appropriate. I paid $15 to move my Aristocrat into my living room.

Cost me nothing to get my Aristocrat delivered where I wanted it. The delivery guy wanted to see so bad he stuck around while I unpacked it.

these units are cheap and made in china. from my experience the oasis is way to small to keep the humidity at a controlled level. Bob makes a nice humi but mine seams to run alot poor seals and made of cheep mdf plywood. If I were to buy another humidor I would spend the money and hire Arlin Liss. he is the best but not cheap.

I am considering a 3000-cigar cabinet humidor and am wondering if anyone has any experience with this model? It costs about $850 after shipping but including the Cigar Oasis II.

It seems like a bargain, almost too much of a bargain. I've looked at the aristocrats, but couldn't settle on a humidor under $3000. I can have the other humidor and five boxes of top shelf cigars for that price. Any other suggestions would be helpful. I'm sure I'll get an aristo at some point, but for now I think the Humidor will be the only thing in the room. Plus I would want the aristo to match whatever I end up putting in my smoking room.

Here is my exact model. Couldn't be more happy with this purchase, and this is built to last a lifetime. Just make sure you get more than double the space you think you might need. I have this boy almost 3/4 full and I am now looking to upgrade to the BIG BOY with cooling. Kind of glad I lost the bids on the devil site and went for this :tu

Must be the trucking company that Bob uses. He advises an little "consideration" will help get the Aristocrat where it needs to be. :ss

Gave the driver $20.00 and a nice cigar for the road when he delivered mine..........:ss

I purchased my Montegue from Tampa Humidor when they had $0.01 shipping on all items. They have great service and comparable pricing, but you can't beat $0.01 shipping. It looks like about 2x a year they have close to free shipping deals on all their products, but be patient and wait for a deal. I had a similar incident with the lift gate service from the delivery company, but I talked my way out of the charge :)
