How is it that in the US its legal to carry a firearm and a knife, over hear its illegal n its all we ever hear about?

Good question...Simple answer. Law abiding citizens want guns to protect their family from the evils of the world. When you take guns out of law abiding citizen’s hands only the criminals will have them. The definition of a criminal is someone who breaks the law. So why would we expect criminals to respect gun laws. Criminals will have guns and law abiding citizens cannot defend themselves….great idea right???

A few years ago my home got burgled, i found out who done it (via family/friends)and reported it to the police..... i got a caution because they lived in my street and the police were worried i would take the law into my own hands!! (the scumbags strangely left the area!)

That is too much kudos. It is not as if I had performed CPR. I merely, fortuitously, redirected an ambulance. The true life savers were the paramedics and doctors.
