Cigar smoking age?

Looks like I'm the slowest learner so far ... January 2005 ... I was 51.

Never really saw the point of them before that. Went to a B&M to buy a selection of cigars for a coworker as a gift. The owner took his time to explain and describe the different cigars he thought might make a good selection. I was totally fascinated by all there was to learn about cigars. Went back the next day and bought a handful for myself. The best part is ... two and a half years later ... I'm still learning and enjoying every minute of it!
 
8th grade cigs....stopped and didn't smoke til my 20's.

22 bought my first Peterson pipe

25 started cigars...

I've been smoking cigars since my mid-20's at the pace of maybe 5 a year until about 3 or 4 years ago when I took that pace to weekly/bi-weekly.

I made a conscious decision to make it a hobby when introduced to CS almost exactly a year ago when I was blown away at the varieties of experiences I had been missing, I've had my first humidor stocked full since. I am currently 38
 
Picked it up seriously when I was 30 (1996-97), and very quickly made it a hobby, attending my first Big Smoke, and keeping a humidor with regular visits to the B&M (not much in the way of internet cigar sales at the time). It kind of waned a bit as my cigar smoking buddies lost interest or moved away, but began a renaissance in the last few years, and is at it's absolute peak right now. :ss
 
I started smoking at 21 (2004) in a port call in Miami/FT. Lauderdale. My first cigar was a Zino Plat. Grand Master. I really enjoyed it, and fell into the downward spiral from there.
 
Started smoking mom's cigs at 9-10 years. First inhaled them at 11-12 years. Thought I would friggin' die! Smoked cigs from then until 21. Quit. Started back at 23. Quit forever since 29 (9 years ago).

Started smoking cigars via Thompson's special deals in college through mail order. Bought random cigars every now and then, especially at bachelor parties, receptions, special events. Smoked half a dozen/year since 19 years. Really started smoking early this year (humidor, credit card bills, different varieties, name brands, etc.).
 
I had my first cigar on my 18th birthday, and got a humidor a few months later. I picked up two more humidors over the years, then joined here last year, and now I've got coolers full of smokes!
 
Smoked an Ashton Magnum my best friend gifted me for being his best man a little over 10 years ago when I was 19.

Immediately started surfing ASC and left because of all the spam (un-filtered), moved on the JR's (closed) and have been a member of a few other boards for years before joining here. :ss
