BUGGER!!!!!!!
I just found out a friends daughter is one of the firefighters burned in one of the San Diego fires
Brooke is in a drug induced coma at UCSD medical center with 3rd degree burns I don't have much info on her condition other than that
please if you could keep Brooke, the other firefighters & their families in your prayers
 
Prayers to Brooke, and to all those involved or affected by the situation out there.
 
This is awful news. She will be in my thoughts. I hope the rest of the Firefighters will return home safe.
 
I thought I'd pass along an Email I just received from Brooke's mom
I had an opportunity to borrow a laptop to send off
this email to update everyone who knows that my
daughter Brooke is a CDF firefighter in San Diego.
Some of you know that she was injured yesterday and is
now at UCSD burn center with burns on her face that
are considered 2nd degree and 12%. She is on a
ventilator due to swelling and as a precaution was put
into a induced coma which is really to her advantage
and ours. She was able to see her daughter Ciara soon
after she was brought in. Ciara is doing very well.
Brooke's husband is flying in from Maryland where he
was at a Army school. We won't really know much more
for about 3-4 days. If I get another opportunity I
will email again.
I know I don't need to ask for you to keep her and all
the others that were injured in your prayers. My cell
is not on very often because of hospital restrictions
and the fact that I have a bad battery and need to
constantly recharge it.
