what's up everyone, long time no talk! these past few weeks have been real hectic for me- as some of you might know, i've come to Israel to live here for a year. currently i'm on a kibbutz in the north, near Haifa, for the next five months. i'm learning hebrew and working at a plastics factory on the kibbutz. the weather is amazing and so are the women (can't figure out which one is more beautiful) unfortunately, Israel isn't the best place for cigar smokers...so far i've only been able to find phillies blunts and king edwards, so thank god for the small stash i brought with me here. hopefully i can find a proper tobacconist in Haifa. but i haven't posted on here in a while, so i just wanted to drop in and let everyone know what's going on. stay well brothers :tu

Hi, Mah Nishma?

If you have a chance to meet anyone coming or going to the main airport I'd ask him to get you sticks. I was there in October They have very nice tobbacco sections and walk in humidors full of cigars. I'm not sure if there are any out side duty free. But inside you can def get good stuff.

Kol Tuv,
Yom tov,

Wow, brings back memories. I did an Ulpan near Netanya at kibbutz Ha'ogen back in 84. Enjoy it and I am sure you will have a blast.

Let us know if you need anything :D

Sounds like a good experience brother.. Enjoy, and like Gone Dave said, just let us know if there are no good cigar shops out that way :D

Have a wonderful time there benjamin!
Work hard and learn alot, and please keep us updated on the goings on there (and pix of those Israeli women at the beach ;) )

There is a great shop right near Shuk Ha'Carmel in Tel Aviv, probably the oldest one in Israel, great selection of mostly Cuban cigars. I am sure you'll find someone to bring you some cigars back, many people visit the market once a week. IIR, its called Oz Tobacco, 6 King George Street (right off Allenby), Phone: 03-528-1495. Literally 2 blocks from the shuk.

Another one: Habanos Brill Cigars, 194 Dizengoff Street (near Arlozorov)
Tel: 972 3 5270707.

שלום

Good to hear from you man. I think it's really cool that you are taking this year for yourself. I am taking my first semester of hebrew right now and am thinking of doing the birthright program this winter break

Let me know if you would like me order something and send it out to you. :tu
