My package left the debil site on thurs. It has been sitting 6 miles away at the hub since last friday. It's not scheduled for delivery until tomorrow.

Damn it, I want my pepins. :ss
 
Got to love holidays sometimes.:D Seems they always fall when your waiting on some smokes to arrive.:r:hn
I have often wondered why C-Bid ships on Thursdays if you choose the weekly shipping since more than likely your sticks will be stuck at a hot warehouse for the weekend. I could be wrong as I am not sure how UPS operates and if freight is constantly on the move 7 days a week. Either way if it reaches your local hub on Friday than it for a fact will sit in a probably hot warehouse until Monday when it's ready to go out for local delivery. I would think C-Bid would ship on the following Monday to avoid prolonged shipping times (Actual on the road time) but I guess if they did that people would b*tch that their smokes took an extra day or two to get to them. I know me personally, I would rather wait an extra day or two to have my smokes have less exposure to the heat. This is why I never make an online purchase on a Thursday or Friday. 99% of the time I make my purchases on a Monday or a Tuesday in the summer months.

+1. I would rather them ship on a Monday or Tuesday so they don't sit in a warehouse the whole weekend. My humi is better :D

I would be surprised if it does not come in today. UPS delivers only Air packages on Saturday, no Ground packages.

I love UPS, look who came to my house this morning.
 
I request that my vendors ship usps priority because they seem to get to my place in two days, even from the East Coast and I'm in California.

Placed an order with Famous last Wednesday and they offered free ups shipping. According to the tracking number they sent me ups won't be here until this Friday. That's a week to do what usps could do in two days. Even with the holiday I'd be willing to be that usps would have had them here today, Monday. My poor Davidoffs are sitting in some oven-like warehouse while Brown decides to ship them. :mad:
 
I hear you guys on this one....I won a bunch o cigars on c-bid that were shipped UPS last monday and they wont be here till wednesday...One thing I do like about UPS though is I always received what is shipped to me...

USPS sometimes I dont get the packages!
 
My (Atlantic Cigar) shipment has been sitting at a local UPS facility since last Wednesday, supposedly to be delivered today. This shipped on JUNE 27th.
 
At least cbid had your sticks in stock...mine, after I won the auction, they discovered were out of stock! :(
 
This is totally non cigar related but UPS confuses the heck outta me. I live in northern NJ and I ordered a dirt bike helmet and its sitting in Parsippany about an hour away but the delivery date says 7/9 but the package has departure scan at 4:30 this afternoon. Im sorry Im just confused and semi frustrated
 
I'm not a big fan of UPS. I ordered a small count humidor when I guess(?) a large rain storm hit a town not to far from me. I got the "Item held because of adverse weather conditions" which was understandable I guess.. Considering it was just rain.. Delayed the delivery by 3 days as it just sat there maybe 100ish miles from my town. Good thing I was moving and really didn't mind the delay as it came just in time as we got situated.

Its not really there fault I assume, as you cannot control mother nature. Just seemed like a long delay for just rain.
 
UPS stinks! I live in a gated community and have had cigars not delivered because the driver says he couldn't get in on a Fri. But on Mon. for some reason he able to get through the gate. Or a package that should've been delivered but isn't, and they don't leave a note, go to their Website and it says the package was out for delivery at 6:00am. And my all time favorite is I'm sitting in the family room, UPS rings the doorbell I go to the door and the idiot is gone. I see the truck going down the street.:mad:
