Ahh, even if you had it on the list I'd probably still pick Ashton!
I smoked my first last summer.
I got one in a knife trade a long time ago. It sat in my humidor for about a year until I finally smoked it last August and was like, "Holy cow!" I couldn't believe that gem was in my humidor for so long.

I haven't smoked everything in the Ashton line yet, but I'm working on it.

Tough choice, had to debate between Davidoff and Fuente, but the axe fell on Fuente and I will hang onto Davidoff. My rationale, in the end, is that I have never had a bad Davidoff. I have had bad AF's show up occasionally, but never a Davidoff (fingers crossed)....

If I could BUY only one brand - I'd go with Padron. But I'd beg, borrow and steal Fuentes.

Isn't this a question about which brand you would chose and not which cigar? I like the Padron Anny as well, but based on overall selection and quality, might lean towards CAO.

They seem to make many different cigars all pretty good. If my humidor had only one brand, it just might have to be CAO.

I was temped to vote Padron but I picked CAO. I've never really had a bad CAO, they have a very consistent product (not that Padrons don't). I've really enjoyed all my CAO sticks to the fullest and they have a wide variety to chose from.

Padilla for me. Miami 8&11. Padilla Habano. Maduro. Especial Achilles. Especial Obsidian. Good variety, and most are moderately priced. JMHO.

I'd choose Patel for the wide variety of strengths and styles (with Torano coming in a close second for the same reason.) If I had to choose one particular line of cigars, Padron Anni would win. If economy were factored in, Fuente Chateau.

And then I would foment revolution and overthrow the dictator. :w

Looks like Padron is catching up.

At first, I was actually torn between Fuente, Padron, and Patel. However, I only enjoy higher-end Fuente (Anejo) and Padron (Anni), while I enjoy almost every line of Patel. Therefore, Patel gets my vote. Sorry, Avo

AF and Gurkha have the vast selection.

Padron has the, IMO, nicer top tier smokes but the regular line is pretty pedestrian.

I guess, if OpusX was included, I'd go with AF.
