My Boss Smokes the Weird Stuff

The Italians are really into smoking the cheroots made by a company called Toscana. The tobacco is grown in Kentucky.

I grew up in KY and as a young lad I raised tobacco (you dont grow it), and I must say that it makes some good chewing tobacco, but I am not sure that I would smoke it......again.....nearly killed my the first time!

Many a time my boss has walked in my office grinning ear-to-ear over his latest find. Sometimes it's an Esplendido from an ISOM, sometimes it's a backwoods special such as these. He got back from a trip in Ohio, where he proudly exclaimed "that's the only place you can find these babies!"

They look like trees. Or worse. They don't smell bad, and to tell you the truth, I'm kinda anxious to fire one up! Boss-man says they're simply called 'Italians.' Anyone here ever seen one of these before?

Good morning Todd W,

I have smoked several of these. They are called Italians because that is basically the style of old Italian cigars. A guy from work brings some over every once in a while, he is from Italy.

They have a distinct taste but are not bad - a unique experience and a nice change of pace.

Those look pretty authentic and I would not be surprised if they have really come from Italy.

Its not a bogus stick - just different.

Light it up and enjoy - let me know what you think.

Travis

I think I'll do a review. Maybe I'll even do it in the vein of Macho Man -- "Oh, yeah!" Thanks for having fun with me on this one -- I knew you'd like them!
