My father and the 2:30 a.m. call

I said a prayer for your father and your family. There truly is power in prayer. I believe it is truly underestimated. The Lord truly does work in mysterious ways , and like you said it indicates a need for some changes to prevent a permanent stroke. All the best and God Bless.

Well 5 minutes from him being discharged he had another tia stroke. Looks like another night in the hospital for him. Rats.
 
Makes you think about all of those things doesn't it?

I just attended the funeral today for a staff person in my office. She was just a year older than me ... way too young to be laying there in that coffin.

Hope your Pop gets home soon and does what the doctor says. He'll be in my prayers.

Just a quick update- Dad is home and doing well. I have to inject his belly with meds 2x daily but I strongly feel he's on the path to recovery.

You have all been with me during this journey and I appreciate that. I know we're going to get through this but sheeshh...life can be a real pain in the butt sometimes.

Glad to hear the good news! My prayers are with you & your family. My Dad also has some serious health issues, but he keeps on going. Spend as much time with your Dad as you can!
