Oliva Master Blend III Robusto (pics)

Great smoke indeed! I have 6 left that are about 6 months old. tasty!

FYI. Most cameras have closeup mode on them. Its the option on your menu that looks like a flower. It works great for photos like these.

Nice review and nice cigar. I like the blend 1 better than the 111 and 11 worse than all three. how do you feel about the other blends?

I got box of these resting... I've had a couple, but decided to let them rest a bit and try them again after a year. Thanks for the review!

I purchased the Master Blend III after I tried the Master Blend I and then learned that Oliva had stopped making these some time ago. I knew the two blends were different and was worried whether I would like the III. I have had two of the Master Blend III so far and am looking forward to warm weather so I can smoke several more of them.

My local B&M wants $13 a stick. I don't think so.

Disappointed in NJ,
Al

Ouch! I picked up two 5-packs during a special version of Famous' 3-for-2 sale. It probably averaged to under $7 a stick. Famous sells a 5-pack robusto for $43 (plus shipping unless you spend over $100, and then shipping is free).

I smoked one a couple weeks ago after resting it for a year. I will agree that this is an absolutely beautifully constructed cigar, but the taste was less than impressive to me. It could've been my palate that day, what I'd eaten, etc - just goes to show than any cigar can taste bad (or good) on any given day (some are just more reliable/consistent than others).

awesome pics! i really dig this cigars...trying to get my hands on some mb1...i was told it was an amazing smoke...hard to believe when the mb3 is pretty good...the search continues...

I just had one of these and it was great! It had a nice balance of spice, cream, and some other flavor I couldn't pick up on. :tu :ss

Very nice review. I've got a few of these sitting in my humidor and can hardly wait to try one now :ss
