Out there is a maid with a lucky S.O.

Tear into all the maids and let them know you are aware of their stealing. Call the company (if there is one) and request new maids. When the new one starts, let that person know the previous maid was stealing from you and you will not tolerate it. Stealing cigars may be an innocent game to them, but it is only the start to them stealing something else. Lay down the law!

Maid boobs? The best of the maids are still butterfaces

Could any of these be the culprit?

That sucks. When we have people at the house to do work from time to time I make sure my desktop humi is out of sight and the cabinet is locked. I had a Pepin Blue torp that was gifted to me that had over a year of age on it. I went to smoke it not too long ago and could not find it. I was pretty upset but at the same time not as upset if I thought someone stole it. I think I may have honestly smoked it without realizing it. Could have been one of those nights where I had too many Capt Morgans/Dr Peppers.:r Than again it may be buried in one of the single drawers for all I know.
Again, sorry for your luck as I would be pissed if it were me and I know I would fire every one of them guilty or not. I don't have any OWR stocked up but have a couple Sungrowns and Edges so if you want a couple PM me your addy and I will get you a couple to try.

I really feel for you bro.... locking up your good ones and setting a trap would probably be the most satisfactory, because you catch the theif, and then bringing that to the service and authorities you prevent this person from stealing from others.

Just some food for thought.

I considered the possibility that I had smoked and forgotten but with samples I am really careful because I am considering further purchases and I didn't smoke 5 and forget... 1 or even 2 (doubtful but possible) maybe... but not 5.

I have ordered more of the maduro edges because I liked the one I tried so well but I didn't get to try the spicy. Thanks for the offer but I think I will just order another sampler on my next run. Or maybe I need to check into the trading thing.

Speaking of addresses... didn't I see a thread at one point about new people posting their address somewhere? I looked for that the other day and couldn't find out where I should post it. I'd be interested to see how many other members are in my immediate area.

Addresses are not and should not be posted publicly. Nor should they be shared indiscriminately.

Ms. Floydp is the keeper of the rolodex. If you provide her with your address and meet the minimum requirements, she can provide you an address if you want it.

If you have even an inkling about your staff, and you do work that is sensitive in nature especially in defense, I don't see any alternative but to terminate the relationship. What's a couple of smokes if you have sensitive information elsewhere in your place?

I am not concerned about my data from visiting maids. First they would have to know what kind of work I actually do and they don't. Second they would have to care enough to try and steal it. Third they would have to have some pretty decent computer skillz to get past computer security. Lastly they would have to know how to use the data for their own benefit and that is not likely either. The camera system is really to make someone doesn't run off with a piece of equipment that might contain data. They aren't hidden camera either. They are very noticeable to provide a good deterrent.

It is not like the information I have is super sensitive at least not for the military. I doubt seriously it could ever be used by anyone for profit or otherwise. Some of the information I have for other companies I consult for is far more sensitive.

Yeah I wouldn't give my street address publicly online. I was thinking more on the lines of city and state.

That is what many use the Location: for in the user profile. Although, many use it for generic or humorous locations.

Maybe you were thinking of this one?

Yeah but I can't prove which one it was and it has been over a week since they have been here so I would have a hard time proving it was them at all now. The only other people that have been in my den is my mother and sister so I feel quite sure it was a maid but I don't want to falsely accuse someone without better evidence. What if my sister brought over a friend while I was away last weekend?

Fire the maids. Put your mom & sister to work. You already got your wife changing the sheets, so you're off to a good start.

:D

Yikes. I wouldn't want a family member to clean the house. That is a level of closeness I don't share with any of my family.

Why would she take noticeable ones. The ones out of the boxes like you were saying would be much harder to notice. If you have any idea of which maid took them let her fry! Be a good idea to put up a couple nanny cams pointed towards the humi's,

None of them are in boxes. What I meant was it would be hard for me to know if a few of the ones I buy by the box are missing because I don't know how many of each I have left. It is easy to know the ones I do as samples because I track them. It is quite likely the number of actual missing cigars could be higher than 5. I doubt it is more than 10 because I would have noticed that the space available suddenly increased.

Ahhhh, yea being a few of them would be hard to notice some missing then if she took one of something you only had a couple of. I still agree with a poster above about the exploding pellets in the end of some cigars. Just don't forget and smoke one yourself! :ss
