Pepin Event in NYC......

Is this invitaion only? Meet the man, get a box and six stogies rolled by the legend himself...that's like hitting the cigar Mga Millions. :tu
 
Just called over there..... Pepin will NOT be there today.

I'm stil going to swing by for a quick smoke though. Maybe one of the Clear Havanas I got from Hollywood!! :ss
 
pepin is not there- pretty big crowd at 3pm- spoke with the gentleman rolling the cigars- very nice. the fresh smoke smells totally different than i would have thought. Hes rolling the same blend as the Blue Label.

Unfortuntalty, you cant buy the fresh rolled, they only come as a special.

I got 3 of those fresh rolled DPG Blue Labels. The Rep said either smoke them in 2 days, or give them 2 weeks. Anyone ever heard of that? :confused:
 
Never heard of those time comparisons(2 or 2). Seems odd. When I used to work in Manhattan I used to hang out at Tainos on most Friday afternoons and they rolled their own there. I always enjoyed the sticks with at least a month on them. They went through stock quick so most of everything in the case is fairly fresh so I would smoke some freshly rolled sticks but did find that they improved with a minimum of a month on them. Smoked one a couple weeks ago with a year on it and it was a totally different smoke. If I were you I would just set it down in the humi for a few months and take the guess work out of it.:2
 
Same guy rolled for Pepin at the Corona event I went to. Pepin was at that one but just rolled a few baseball bats and chatted.

I smoked the one I got the next day and it was great.
