Perdomos?

Maturing Primate
Anyone have any suggestions on Perdomos? Blue Havana II is having a Perdomo event today. And since Atlanta traffic is so horrible on Fridays anyway, AND since I work right down the street I figure that I can either sit in traffic or go sit at Jim's and wait for traffic to clear. The choice is obvious (especially since I blew out a $300.00 tire on my way to work this morning.)

So. Given all of that.... The deal is buy 3 get one free. What should I try? My normal smokes are Olivas and CAOs with a Fuente or a Monte #2 thrown in for good measure.

Thanks!!!

The Habano Corojo,Maduro and Conn. are all very good. The ESV's are top notch as well. You also can't go wrong w/ the Reserve Champagne.

I had a Perdomo Habano Corojo Maduro robusto a few weeks ago and really liked it. I didn't pick up any of the Lot 23's, even though I was intrigued. They are supposed to be good.

Had a La Tradicion Cabinet Series robusto yesterday, and it did nothing for me. It was sneaky strong, but not a lot of flavor, IMHO.

I've only had the Lot 23 and the Reserve Champagne. I thought the Lot 23 was okay and the Champagne was simply awesome.

Alright! Thanks for the great info!!! It sounds like the Lot 23's are one to try. They have a deal if you buy a box of the 23's you get a Vector triple flame table lighter.

I am a big fan of sungrown and maduro wrappers. Sounds like those will be looked at too.

I like the La Tradicion series quite a bit. Especially the platinum and the champagne, then the sun grown with the red maddie coming up last.
The ESV is nice up front but I kinda think they either fade at the end or they are so good right off the bat the last 1/3 seems boring.

Unlike a lot of folks I don't like the Lot 23 very much at all.

Happy smoking!

I also like the Lot 23's. They are a great value smoke. Also, I smoked a Vintage 1991 the other day, that was a smaller (Corona?) with a wrapper lined with Gold "P's" all over it. I'll definitely be looking for that little hitter again, so if you see one, pick it up!:tu

Lot 23's are one of my favorite smokes and one of the best values imo. I also really like the Champagnes and Habanos. Also, I've used that vector thundra lighter before and that thing is a beast!

If I didn't have to work this afternoon I'd head over there for some herfin :(

Estate Selection 1991 Epicures - delicious, my B&M turned me on to them. So good after the first one, I bought a box which I rarely do that quick. They are just as good the 2nd, 3rd, 4th......you get the picture :ss
