Thanks so much for the well wishes.

We are well covered by our policy (up to $1000000), the cleaners are in there now taking everything for cleaning etc. The are in the process of setting up accomodations for us for TWO MONTHS, the entire basement has to be ripped out - walls and all.

Don't know about immediate out of pocket expenses but I will keep you updated!

Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers - it really means the world to us!
 
Jeff,It might be seen as a blessing that this happened when the house was totally empty especially after what the fire department said. I am glad to here that you and your family are safe and pray that some good luck be brought apon you.

Jeff and Faith...as many have said already, I am speechless. However, IF it HAD to happen, it happened at the right time. I would hate to think of losing my Canadian friend/brother...the stuff can be replaced but not the relationship we have developed. You provided a class act by offering up verification on the fire. I hope you know that you are in my daily prayers. God bless you and your family and please let me know how I can help.

P.S. I'm glad you had your cigars shipped to AZ for your vacation. At least you can still relax with a good cigar. Again, let me know how I can help.
 
Even in the terrible event like this, I am glad that nobody was hurt in the fire. I wish you all the luck and hope you stay in good spirits in the time ahead. Keep you head held up high and know that things will get better in the long run.
