Hitting up the illusiones pretty hard lately, I bought a five pack of the mk plus about a week ago, haven't tried one yet though.
Just made this order from Holts
Padilla 1932 Lanceros 10 count bundle
Holt's Connoisseur Selection Knight 5 pack.

Picked up two boxes thru the internet. 1) Bolivar "Toro" 2) Don Pepin Garcia Invictos. I've recntly become a bit of a Pepin whore, and I thought these boxes would be a couple of good "daily" smokers.
 
BOGO on the Diablo Caliente from Famous. Many don't like em, but I think they're pretty good. Definitely different. Going to get the BOGO on the Olor Fuerte Robusto this coming week. It's humi stocking time.:ss

I have a box of Victor Sinclair Connecticut Yankee's on the way. Got one in a sampler and for a $2 smoke it fits the bill.

Threw in some other little things but I forget and don't want to look them up so it'll be a 'surprise' next week. :r

Yeh, I should have tried one a year ago. Then I would have some nicely rested cigars by now. :D :r

The 888 I smoked was fantastic, so I asked for recommendations for sizes that had a similar flavor profile. Mark from Tower said I should go for the 88s and Dion said I should try the MKs. That was all I needed to hear. :D

Sounds like a nice little purchase from Holts!

Have you tried the Holt's Connoisseur Selection? I know Volfan likes them that is half the reason I picked them up the other half is they are a Pepin so I pretty much can't go to wrong. Made one my order over the weekend, found a killer deal on some 601 Oscuros, picked up the La Fuerza.

You know, I have not tried them. So far I have not found a Pepin outside the major brands that I would actually buy a box of. Maybe the Cigar King HyGs (those lanceros look interesting), but the majority of the other stuff has just been ok. Don't get me wrong, they are not bad cigars, but they just don't compare to the Miami made Tatuajes or the Serie JJ for me.

I think I finally gave up trying to sample all of the stuff Pepin is rolling these days. . . :D :r :r

I'm with you, I love the JJs and Miami Tats, probably my two favorite Pepins. I would like to try some of the cigarking blends again, they just cost way to much money-I remember really liking the Sancti Spiritus, Havana Soul, Habana Leon. Tried the red label Pepin and forgot how good that cigar was. Great medium bodied. For some reason I am still wanting to try each and every Pepin out there, I think I pretty much have, probably only a couple I haven't tried.
 
It has been a while since I bumped this thread. Crap, it has been a while since I purchased some cigars. Well that changed today:

Just had to try the new sizes.

Next purchase, a jar of Tatuaje Black Labels - assuming I can get my hands on one!
 
Picked up some pre release Cusano's. I hope they are good, I got two boxes. I am sure I will like them judging by all the other Cusanos I have smoked.
 
Poked around Tinder box here in CLT yesterday and picked up PAM26 No6, PAM64 principe,nub Habano torp, Oliva special g, and a benchmande (the new pepin).
