Garcia Vega, then a step upward to a Santa Rosa, and finally graduated to La Gloria Cubanos, which I have faithfully smoked for the past 20 years or so.

It was a Dutch Masters, over 20 years ago. I just got serious with cigars this year. I am very fond of A. Fuente Hemingway.

5 Vegas Gold Robusto

We were going to a convention and somehow I got roped into putting together some cigar event (failed horribly) and having never smoked a cigar (why me, what the hell) I decided to grab one before the drive up to the bay. It was a 5 Vegas Gold and I fell in love... from there it's just been downhill.

Ashton :) i still remember my friends dad asking me if i wanted to smoke a stick with him...

I was either late 14 or early 15 at the time

My first real cigar was a Onyx Reserve. I had some Black & Milds prior to that, but lets be honest. That doesn't really count.

well, the really first one was a cheap ass shortfiller to light some firecrackers when I was about 16, and I smoked about 1 cigar a year after that. What really got me into cigars, and what I consider to be the first cigar because it started this hobby and the slope was a MonteCristo No.4. I smoked it sitting on a porch in Yogjakarta, Indonesia, while sipping on a nice cocktail enjoying the view (a pool with some nice looking Indonesian women).

Macanudo...I don't remember which one however. It was when I got married 7 years ago. I haven't stopped since.

When I was about 12yrs. my grandpa was going a little crazy, so he moved in with my family. He used to give us three kids Utica Club beer in the pilsner bottles and little handmade cigars, Im not sure what the brand was but I do remember they had Spanish writing on them. :ss

Wolf Brothers, rum soaked! I think I was 5 years old at the time, followed by Swishers and Hav-A-Tampa's in High School. :ss

My VERY first cigar was a Marsh Wheeling back when I was shortly out of college. My first "real" cigar was a Troya I bought at a Tinder Box in Pittsburgh.

I voted "other" in the poll.

My first cigar was made from solid milk chocolate and came from someplace like See's candy on the left coast. Hard to remember for sure - lotta chocolate under the bridge since then.
