Yep, having something clanking around on your pocket all the time, and losing a glued on trim piece isn't the end of the world, and I bet it's still sharp and will cut thousands more cigars. Small price to pay for a very small assembly mistake, (if that is what you wanted to call it). I might be a bit annoyed if it was only a few days or weeks old, but if it has been banging around for a year or more, I wouldn't personally sweat it. I would take the opportunity to put some personal touch in it, so better to tell it apart from my BOTL's versions at herfs.

As has been stated, no big deal, just a "trim" piece. Mine did the same thing recently, and I don't even use mine that much. Haven't even gotten around to gluing it back in.
 
Can someone help us- what is this supposed to look like??!! I don't see anything wrong with the cutter.
 
Other hand should be holding a cigar, not a camera. I've tried trimming my camera with a Palio before and it did a very poor job.
